PIng Server Failed- 403 Forbidden error

Hi Experts,

When i try to ping the sever from NWDS in

Windows> Preferences>Java Development Infra Startucture--> Development Configurations.

I am getting the below error.

Ping server failed.

403 Forbidden error.

But when i give the url in browser it opens fine.

Hi,

in the setting "Windows> Preferences>Java Development Infra Startucture--> Development Configurations."

you have to specify the URL for the SLD.

If you face the error you mentioned (403) then perhaps the user you used to log on to NWDI (from NWDS) has no proper authentication to SLD. You can experience a similar phenomenon if you open the URL in a browser (the URL of SLD) and the link for "Administration" is grayed out.

If this is the situation then I suggest to check the note:

HI Experts,

I am able to ping server after giving the URL. It is successful also.

But this is before i log into NWDS.

But If i try to login to NWDS and then ping the server, I get 403- forbidden error.

Please give ur inputs.

Hi,

Please check it below steps in your system first

A computer virus

Windows drivers that need updates

Physical memory issue

Spyware issue

Malware issue

Security settings are not optimized

Critical Windows File were accidently deleted

Windows Registry issue

Security settings are not optimized

Security settings are not optimized

After that try to restart the system and try again
