BPS - Stop the 'refresh' when using enter button

Hi,

Does anyone know how to stop the 'refresh' in web planning layouts when the user hits the 'enter' button on his computer keyboard.

The problem is that the refresh takes too much time - we are using the unassigned functionality (where you can plan against the # value and distribute etc) in BPS hierarchical planning, and the system automatically totals (and calculates the # value) each time a user mistakenly hits enter.

So, I would like to stop the web layout from refreshing each time the user presses enter.

    Hi, you could try to put the event of your container or tab strip to 'false' to avoid refreshing.

    I can't see into a bps system but i think that it could solve your problem.

      Hi Boujema,

      Thanks, the event selector is greyed out for my layouts and I can't see how to change that. Also, there is no option to set the event in the containers or groups.

      I am only in version SEM3.1b, so maybe we are seeing different options.
