DTW Error: Date Deviates from permissible range [JDT1.TaxDate][line:13]

Hi Folks,

Good Day!

I'm uploading data to Data Transfer Workbench and I encounter this error

Date Deviates from permissible range [JDT1.TaxDate][line:13]Application-defined or object-defined error65171.

These are joural entries. I have opened the periods and also checked the date formats as per the related threads here but still gives me the error.

Any idea and solution on how to make my transfer successful?

Hi Fringe.....

Go to Posting period where you are giving problem of date deviation and modify its To DueDate and its To Document date to today's date and then try to run DTW Template......

This will solve your errors coming in DTW.........

Once you imported successfully just reset its To Duedate and Document date again to original value.......

You may try to add all dates as of 2009. Otherwise some of the dates will be this year. Or you change your current period to allow document date for 2009.

I took your advice and tried to do it. There's a new error I encountered. Here it is:

[JDT1.ShortName][line:291].'duplication of account - On Hold'-Application-defined or object-defined error65171

What might be the cause of this?

Hi Fringe..........

It means date deviation error is solved now. Great. Now for this error you have to check the ShortName field. Have you given anything in this? This field refers to account description........

Also please check the On Hold account in GL Account Determination for each year you defined posting period.........

I didn't define the ShortName field... So I will just check the GL Account Determination if the accounts were inactive...

In your header you are posting to one period (January), in the lines you are posting to Janu and April. This is not allowed...
