Dear All,
My requirement is that i have to add about 100-150 tcodes for an existing role, like this i have to add such 150 tcodes to about 250 roles.
I would like to is there any way i can import tcodes from excel to role with out disturbing my existing tcodes present in a role.

Unfortunately there's only a menu upload format as decribed in note [389675|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/389675].
If you just want to add transactions to roles without a menu structure you can record an ecatt script which adds a transaction to a role one at a time. Run that with a proper input file and work you way through the authorizations part afterwards.

You may be able to script (eCATT, LSMW) the addition but that won't deal with the additional auths that will be pulled in. If you are adding 150 transactions (which are about 120 more than most users ever use) then there will be a lot of open auths.
Adding 150 transactions to 250 roles sounds like there are serious design issues. The amount of time you spend making this fix may be better spent looking at how you can more effectively structure your roles.

Hi Alex
that i have to add about 100-150 tcodes for an existing role
...
Really do agree with you - I can list my daily used SAP standard! transactions on all fingers, thumbs and some toes (and I still have all my toes) but I have a hunch that the OP has lost control of the role design (or never had it) and this is now in the "OMG!" stage of role building
Cheers

Haha. Being from the Westcountry I find my extra toes to be an advantage

I am also wondering what sort of a concept needs to add 150 tcodes to 250 roles.
For example, how about a new role (1) assigned to some users (n). Or import that role menu into the roles which need it (it might not be 250 roles).
In German this is refered to as "doppelt gemoppelt".
Perhaps you should first explain your concept restraints to us, because such maintenance is avoidable...
Cheers,
Julius
