Macro u2018stock below safety stock (dyn alerts)' does not work

Hi guys,

We are having a sap standard maco 'stock below safety stock (dyn alerts)' in our pb/dv as a directly executed macro. When we load the data into planning book, the stock on hand is currently less than the 'safety stock' key figure, however, when I executed this macro, it does not generate any alert showing in planning book.

What else we need to set up? How can we view the alerts in the planning book?

Thanks a lot.

regards,

wenyan

Hello Wenyan,

Please make sure that you have note 1502037 implemented first.

Then for your alert profile, please make sure that it is defined correctly:

1)Planning book / data view / selection profile is specified in the 'Object Selection' -> 'Dynamic Alerts'

2)Include 'stock below safety stock (dyn alerts)' in 'Select Alert Types' -> 'SDP Dynamic alerts

Best Regards,

Ada

Hi,

Please note that the alert determination process is done by running the start and Default macros in the planning book / data view for all the planning objects in the selection. And also to generate alerts it is also important the sequence of these macros. So you can't generate alerts by simply executing one macro.

here is the sequence of macros:

1 Determine workdays

2 Stock balance

3 Safety Stk/Reorder Point/Targt Stock Lvl

4 Days' supply

5 Stock below safety stock (dyn. alerts)

6 Supply shortage (DB alert)

7 Supply shortage (dynamic alerts)

8 Stock below safety stock (DB alert)
