RSECNOTES ....Reset SAP Note Implementationu201D

Dear Gurus

We have recently received over 100+ security recommendations after running the rsecnote tool. I understand that we need to apply these notes thru SNOTE in dev and then make a transport and move it for testing in QA and then eventually to Production.

Letu2019s say I implement and transport a note to Quality , then discover note is a problem. Can the note be u201Cresetu201D in Development and transported again to remove it from Q63?

Please advise

Yes. You can reset is on Developement and it will generate a new TR and that you can move into Quality.

    Hello,

it is possible as described, but some notes depend on each other, in this case you cannot remove a single note, you have to remove also the dependent.

I always import the security notes after one week without probplems in QA systems. I had never problems with them. Mostly in case of problems it is better to go forward and fix the problem instead of removing a note.

    Regards

    Christian
