Goods issue error

Former Member

Hi there,

When my client tries to post a goods issue transaction, the following error message appear:

This entry already exists in the following tables '' (IGE1)(ODBC-2035) [Message131-183].

I have tried to restore the numbering file, but this message appears again... can someone please shed some light on how to fix this problem?

Thank you!

Hi,

Your database is probably corrupted by orphan record. Only SAP support can run script to fix your problem. It is beyond forum scope here.

Thanks,

OK, I have found the problem, and it had nothing directly to do with the IGE1 table, but in conjuction with the OIGE table... the next number did not exist in the OIGE table, but did however exist in the IGE1 table. I added the record in the OIGE table, restored the numbering file, and voila!

This solution is not supported by SAP. I know exact what your problem is. That is why I told you there is orphan record. Those records are in the row table without header.

Hi Psyberfox,

I think what Gordon want to say is, you shouldn't do any amendment directly with the database of SAP B1. I believe (CMIIW) if SAP found out this fact, you're not entitled to SAP support if same problem / any problem related to what you had done occurred in the future. Beside that, are you sure that you already fixed related table to your case? Only SAP understand which table need to be updated with particular case, maybe you feel that at the moment your problem is solved, but it doesn't warrant it will result in another problem in the future. Better contact SAP if this kind of problem exist in the future, just my two cents.

Hi,

Try to use "Restore numbering file" in help --> support desk --> Restore --> restore numbering file (if you are using sap b1 8.8)

please back up your db first.

Hi..........

Please check IGE1 Table in Query Generator especially its DocNum and DocEntry. It should not be repeated or existing as you are trying to add with what DocNum............

Else you have to raise support ticket to SAP.......
