UDT relate to In PLD

Hi Experts ,

I'm trying to use the relate to field in PLD.

I've got a field I need for certain Itemcodes. (about 1% of my items)

I've created a UDT with Itemcode , MyextraField.

ItemCode is Unique field on the UDT.

I'm trying to add a database field of the UDT on my Invoice PLD.

I'm using the relate to link and relate the MyExtraField from the UDT I created to the Database Itemcode on the repetitive area of the invoice.

but I'm getting blank fields.

Thanks for any help.

    Hi,

The related to function may only work on the key field. You may try to add both UDF in PLD and related to between your Itemcode and the system field. And also your ExtraField with your itemcode.

    Then hide your Itemcode

    Thanks,

    Gordon

    I don't fully understand.

    My UDT has

Code , Name , ItemCode, MyExtraField.

ItemCode is Unique Key as defined on the fields UDT --> Keys.

I added Database Field to my Repetitive area. Picked my UDT table with ItemCode (the Unique Key)

and picked relate to the system field with the itemcode.

still I get blank fields .

    what am I missing ?

    Thanks !
