Count of material documents

Dear all

I need a following statistics of material movement download.

For a single SAP user ID, Movement type wise, material document count needed.

for example

User BD1122101

Movement type : 101

Count of material document : 1353

Like that i have to take for all user ID's . Is there any standard reports available or any other workaround, Please help us.

Currently the same i am taking from MB51 transaction and it was more time consuming.

Hi,

Use Pivot table for the same in excel, group your data by material document / Location and add user id in Sum values ,you will get then count list of users.

Currently i am doing by excel pivot table only, thank you for your reply. Still any one find any other direct reports pl reply to this thread.

TAANA transaction is usually the transaction to count records, however it does only work for individual tables.

I have not seen any such function like TAANA for table joins in SAP, except you build a query or quickviewer and build totals and subtotals.

You can get the document details in Table MSEG & User detals in Table BKPF

You may connect these 2 tables in by SQVI & get the desired details.

Hi Madhan,

If you are only interested in GR documents with reference to purchase orders (mvt 101, 102, 122, 161), then searching the table EKBE can be much more efficient - it contains only PO history records (and contains all you need in one single table). Just use trs SE16N to list all the documents (limit to the fields that you need, like the user ID) and download to Excel to produce counts per user.

If you need other material documents as well, there's a database view WB2_V_MKPF_MSEG2 containing all the fields that you need from MSEG (mvt) and MKPF (user, date) in one single table. Again, use trs SE16N to download the neccessary fields to Excel and do statistics there.

Here i do not which movement type was used by the user also if one material document was containing same movement type

moultiple times for no of materials, i want the count as only one.

for example 311 material document will have multiple lines due to more no of materials. But i want count as 1.

Hi Madhan,

I am not a big expert in Excel, so I don't know if you can let a pivot table count only unique occurrences of the material doc. number. But you can definitely ask it to remove duplicates of material document number before you create the pivot table - Excel 2007 has a pushbutton for this on the "Data" tab.
