Data not availiable for reporting

Hi all,

When i go to manage the cube , the system throws a msg saying that "LOADED DATA NOT VISIBLE FOR REPORTING"and there is a option saying "execute changes". And in the request tab, i see all the requests but it says the data is not availiable for reporting. But the QM status and technical status both show green lights.

How can i force the data to be reflected in the reporting? And we dont have any aggregates on that cube.

Any help is appreciated and will be rewarded.

Thanks,

Mav.

    Mav,

I would look at the # of records added. If no records were added, then delete the request from the cube and you will be fine. If records were added then you would have to decide whether they are complete and accurate. I can't really opine on that. If the red requests were deltas then you should probably delete them from the cube and not worry since the subsequent request would have been a repeat delta and would have picked up the ones from the red alongwith new delta activity.

Making it green would make it available for reporting and it is possible that the request is not complete or has been picked up by a subsequent delta (double counting for a cube)

      Hi Mav,

ok, as I thought there was some red requests...

now you forced them on green and your data became available for reporting...

but have you checked in detail screen of your bad requests where dataload process stopped ? maybe only some info IDocs didn't arrive, so all data was successful posted on your cube...but you have to be sure that tou didn't loose some record...

anyway, are you able to repeat your full requests (with same selections in order to retrieve same data) ?

you are working on a cube witout delta and this woulb be not do difficult...

      Let me know !

(and don't forget to reward your friends !!!)

      Bye,

      Roberto

      Hi Roberto,

Now i see that a few requests on 06/05/03 have a red light in both the QM and Technical details. Can i force it to green? If yes, what has to be done inorder to make the data visible for reporting? all the requests after that are not avaliable for reporting.

    As long as there are non-green requests, all subsequent requests are never available for reporting even though the subsequent requests are green. So your options are;

    -delete the red requests

-if you determine the red requests are fine, you can manuall y mark them green by pressing the QM icon.

Once you do that ALL requets will be avaiable for reporting.
