Description attribute of PCD element

Hi,

I need to get the description attribute from a pcd element(page/workset/iview) defined by a pcd url. Does anyone know a method to do this?

I've currently been looking at the class com.sap.portal.admin.propertyeditor.private_implementations.PropertyEditorService but this will get the whole PCD object and possibly add a lock to it.

    Seems like the com.sap.portal.appdesigner.contentcatalog.contentcatalog service could solve my problem.
