If you are trying to get the table control to fit on the screen, then mark the table control as resizable in screen painter. Double click on the table control, and a box will popup on the right. The resizable checkboxes are near the bottom right.

Do you need to resize it for another reason?

This is not pretty but you can give it a try.

You can dynamically generate a screen definition.

Use IMPORT DYNPRO... to read your screen definition into several internal tables. Find the table that holds the size of your table control. It is probably the field table based on structure D021S. Modify the size of the table control in this internal table.

Now use EXPORT DYNPRO... to put the source back, then GENERATE DYNPRO... to activate the screen.

      Then do a CALL SCREEN...

I have used the IMPORT, EXPORT and GENERATE commands successfully to install a new screen but I have not tried calling the screen from the same program. If you try this, please post your results.

Again, not sure I would do this in a Production system.

Let us know how it goes.
