The delta queue in R/3 for LIS sources (S260-261-262) remains empty,
even after a successful init delta. Hence I cannot extract delta
records.
BW3.5
PI2004.1
Does the BW upgrade has an effet on the delta queue management in R/3 ?
The previous configuration BW2.0B PI2004.1 did work fine in that
respect.

Hi Laurent,
why are you using the old LIS infostructures ?
You have to switch to new Logistic Cockpit datasources...
Bye,
Roberto

Roberto,
This is a vey old story...
In short, R/3 has to be upgraded (current is version 4.0 and low level of SP)
The fact is that I have to maintain them.
Do you have any hint ?
I checked that table S26xBIW1 and S26xBIW2 are filled.
I know that LIS are not supported by SAP but this does not mean that extraction does not work...
Laurent,
it's normal that only one delta table is filled (per time).
In fact, in table TMCBIW you have to see for your infostructures the field BIW active with value X and BIW status with value 1 (refers to table SnnnBIW1).
But what does it mean 'OMO1: no information on S260-S261-S262' ?
For every application in LIS you have to activate the corresponding infostructures you want to populate...otherwise how these tables are filled in your system ?
Roberto,
OMO1:
There are no entries for S260-261-262 whereas LBW1 contains updating maintenance parameters:
example:
S262 - Synchronous updating - Delta update is active
TMCBIW: I have S262 - X - 1
I have to add that the delta was working since I tried to make a new INIT. The INIT was ok but RSA7 remains empty.
Laurent,
from OSS Note 534296 'LBW0: DataSource generation possible for SAP info str.' you can read:
"(...)it is no longer possible to generate DataSources for info structures (transfer) Snn delivered by SAP (where nnn is between 001 and 500) in the BW interface for LIS info structures (TR: LBW0) in the OLTP. (...)The corresponding DataSources are delivered with the Business Content."
I think this is the issue...
However, are you saying that all infostructures are empty ?
And from where your init is taking data ?
After an init your delta tables have to be empty...did you empty all these tables before doing your upgrade ?
Bye,
Roberto
Roberto,
The steps I followed are:
1. Copy BWPRD onto BWPRD2
2. Delta from OLTP are retrieved in BWPRD2: works fine
3. Upgrade of BWPRD without data loads involved
4. RFC connection is changed BWPRD-OLTP
5. new init S26x: OK
6. delta always empty
I did not generate anything but I kept the existing environment.
