I have installed the SneakPreview of Java SAP Web Application Server 6.40 (the SDN one from summer 2004). First web dynpro applications could be deployed, but since three days deployment failes. The error message is the same like in other threads:
com.sap.engine.deploy.manager.DeployManagerException:
ERROR: Cannot connect to Host: [schlaeppi] with UserName: [Administrator] Check your Login Info. Exception is: com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NoPermissionException: Exception during getInitialContext operation. Wrong security principles/credentials (message ID: com.sap.sdm.serverext.servertype.inqmy.extern.EngineApplOnlineDeployerImpl.performAction(DeploymentActionTypes).DMEXC)
I throught, it's the problem with the locked Administrator-User (Benny Schaich-Lebeks WebLog: How To Unlock Your Java Admin) but it isn't.
The licence test of the j2ee engine fails with "SAP Basis System: Operating system call recv failed (error no. 10054)", beause I installed SneakPrev in year 2007. Could these both errors be connected?
Hi Peter,
I admit to trying to fool the sneak preview of the WAS by setting my system clock forward and then after the install reverting it back. It lets you think that it works and starts up etc lets you log in and think that you have got away with it... However 1/2 an hour in the server goes into a licence check algorithm and detects my devious ways and shut down...
Try re-booting your environment and attempt a deploy in under 1/2 and hour.. What status is the J2E in the MMC?
Regards
Daniel
