    Hi,

you can create PO without materials for direct consumption material (there is not required to make seprate goods Issue) / for one time material to avoid to create no.of materials in system.

Usually you have to select below account assignment for the same

    Network-N

    Project Stock-Q

    Internal Order-F

    Cost Center-K

    Asset.-A

Hope this will help you lot.

    Hi

P.O can be Created with out Material Master, like for direct consumable items.

Example: You may buy office supplies or stationaries or furnitures.

This may not be maintained in Stock inventory. Indeed the expense/cost booked in to the Consumption account.

    Choose:

    Consumable P.O Type

Account assignment category (like K-Cost Centre, A-Asset)

    Specify: Costcentre & GL.

    Hi

If a company dont want to create material master for low value items like waste cloth, cotton, cleaning scraps and low value bottles,

They go for p.o without material master , that is the material is not for stock purpose it will directly go for consumption

either costcenter or project or asset cultomer or order, these are the areas the material will consumed directly.

So when create a p.o for that type of matrerial you have enter the account assisnment ,that is where you are going to consume the material.

Account assisnment is mandotory while creating p.o for these materials.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Where the material is rarely used or in the case of stationary materials like pen, pencil.paper etc of low price directly booked into consumption account .These materials are not taken into inventory. This is decided by business people as per the business is concerned and the important of the material to reduce unnecessary storage space allocation and to reduce inventory cost. Such materials can be bought without material master and can be booked directly to cost center

    Thanks & Regards
