    Hi Sundar,

When you activate the info object, master data tables will be generates in background

This is based on the options we have chosen in master data/texts tab in Info package

1)If you select with master data and with texts and display attribute only, then you will get M and T tables

M -- view of master data tables

    T ---Text table

In this case you cannot attributes to this object because you chosen this as display attribute only.

2)now say you deselected the option display attribute only.so now you can add attributes to this object.if you activate this object you will get the below tables

M -- View of master data tables

P -- Master data table for time independent attributes

Q -- Master data table for time dependent attributes

    T -- Text table

3)Now you chosen some attributes as navigational attributes in attributes and activated the object, in this case you will get the below tables

M -- View of master data tables

P -- Master data table for time independent attributes

Q -- Master data table for time dependent attributes

X -- Master data table for time independent navigational attributes

Y --Master data table for time dependent navigational attributes.

    T -- Text table

So now in your case, if you have any time independent navigational attributes in attributes tab of your info objects, then only you will X table for your info object.

M table is the view on your all master data tables, in your info object just double click on M table, you will goto contents and structure of M table.here you can find every thing.

    Hope this helps

    Regards,

    Venkatesh

      Hi Sundar

If My infoobject has 2 time dep nav attr and 2 time indep nav attr.

Then both X and Y are generated or anything else.

yes.both X and Y tables will be generated

can you please elobote on M view.

Is it created on all master data tables(P,Q,X,Y).

Yes.this table will be create based the tables generated for particular info object.

M view is created only on P and Q tables as X and Y tables are the subset of P & Q tables.

      Regards,

      Durgesh.
