extraction from function module

HI all,

My user is getting same data for the fields billing doc and sales doc in the report. Billing doc is coming from R/3 field zzvbeln and sales doc from the field vbeln. Data is coming from function module. Please let me know how to find the function module attached behind the extracted field, give me the step by step process.

Hi Akram,

In R/3 system, you can go to transaction RSO2, give your Data source name, and display. The function module would be visible in the Extraction by Function Module section at the bottom. You can access the function module by double clicking on the FM name there or using transaction SE37 to see the logic behind extraction.

Hi,

If you want to go R/3 system from BI sytem then go to RSA1 select source systtem select your desired source systen which is connected to BI and rt clk and select customizing extractors it will take you to the R/3 logon screen.

Give the client username--password.
