Hi

In addition, make the note of following:

1. Recipe header:

Status - 4 (released)

Usage - 1 (production)

Planner group if applicable

Click on 'Quality Management' TAB: Provide the Insp Points, Sample drawing Proc

Then, Back, Again click on "Material Assignments" TAB, provide the list of materials applicable for this recipe.

2. operation TAB

Control key for the normal operations wil be PI01, & for Operation involving QC checks will be PI02.

For the operations having inprocess QC checks, select the raw, click on 'Insp Char' Icon. provide the MIC's to be tested with the sampling procedure.

Thanks

Dear Vikas,

1.While creating the master recipe you have one or more than one phase for a single operation.

2.Operation/processing timings have to be maintained at phase level.(it's not possible to maintain at operation level)

3.When you maintain the main operation no say for eg 0010 as the sup operation no,then line item 0020 becomes a phase for

the operation 0010.

4.Control key can be changed if required at each phase level.control recipe destination have to be matained for each phase.

5.Generally in process order confirmation can be made for phase level or at order level.

6.In the input screen of T.Code C201 mention the profile - You can use the profile to define values that are often used in fields

and settings in recipes as defaults. This reduces the work necessary for recipe maintenance.

You can change the values that are copied from the profile.

check and revert back with your queries.

Dear Mr. Mangalraj,

Thx for reply & valuable inputs.

What i understood is in sup. Operation we enter the line number of main operation & subsquently tick the chekbox to let system know that this line item is a phase of line number entered into Sup.operation column.

pls confirm ,if i'm right...

also pls let me know, what is destination & what is the significance of it.

Do we need to configure destinations in SPRO??

Pls advise..

Dear Vikas,

Your understanding is correct, but with a small correction there is no concept called sub-operation in master recipe but instead

called as phase, after maintaining the control recipe destination.

Control Recipe DestinationKey that identifies the control recipe destination within a plant.

Use

By defining a control recipe destination, you specify:

Whether the process instruction of a phase is transferred to an external system or is converted into an SAP PI sheet for a line operator

Which system or line operator processes the process instructions of a phase

You can assign different control recipe destinations to the phases of the same operation, if it makes sense from the point of view of process control.

In the process order, you can create one control recipe for each control recipe destination. In this control recipe, the process instructions of all corresponding phases are combined and transferred.

Examples

Operation Phase Control recipe destination

Op1 Charging LNOP

Processing LNOP

Discharging PCS

Op2 Charging PCS

Processing PCS

Discharging PCS

Emptying one vessel and filling the next one, are phases that belong to different operations. Nevertheless, in our example they are assigned to the same control recipe destination because their execution is closely connected.

Dependencies

If you have made the corresponding settings in Customizing for control recipe destinations:

Certain process instructions are generated automatically when you create a control recipe in the process order

The password and authorization are checked when you enter a signature in the PI sheet

If required this can be configured in T.Code O10C.
