VL10B not picking DDL for some of the line items in the STO

Hi,

We have batch jobs to process the DDL for the STOs, but some of the line items of the same STO is not picked up by batch job, (VL10B is assigned in the batch job, i checked the variant and configuration, everything seems to be fine, when i try to process the DDL through VL10B manually by giving the STO number only, the VL10B program is not picking the STO, but the same STO can be processed through VL10D, what could be the problem and why the VL10B program is not recogonizing the STO for the delivery creation.

We are using ECC 6.0

    Hai Rajesh

    In VL10B and VL10D check

    any restricted dates are in

    Deliv. Creation Date

In case if items are not confirned in these days then VL10B will not create Delivery order.

      Hi Mani,

Thanks for your immediate reply, we have assigned VL10B in the batch job, we have given the dates as past due deliveries to until today, also the (Rule for determining default value for deliv. creation date) we have given the option as 4 and also for the Maximum Delivery Period in the Future we have given 1.

In the STO, for eg the delivery date is tomorrow and the committed date is today, still the STO line item is not recogonized by the VL10B either automatically or manually, but the same STO is picked up by VL10D.

    Hi Rajesh

So far I have experienced this problem only if the delivery date is out of the range of: Delivery creation date & Calculation rule.

To confirm this, may remove any date/rule and leave it blank and execute.

      Hi RG,

Thanks for your reply, i executed the VL10B after removing the date and calculation rule, i have entered only the STO No and executed the program, still the same result, the VL10B is not recogonizing the open STO.

Where as the VL10D recogonizes the STO.
