Setting Router For SAPGUI

Hi folks,

What setting do I need to be able to start SAPGUI (MINIWAS 6.10) from the internet while using a router on the WAS side. I can already use WAS services, since I set up the router for port 8080. But I cannot start the SAPGUI from web. Do I need to set up other ports?

    Hello Shahram,

    the Port depends on the Instance Number of your Installation. I think the Mini WAS uses Instance 00. So the Port is 32 + Instance Number = 3200. But be warned: Don't open this port to the Internet. You should use a VPN to connect to this Server.

      Thanks a lot for your response. I tried it shortly before I got your email and it worked fine.

      Using VPN. Yes, you are right. But for my needs and for now

      I just want to try things and it does no harm.
