Hello all,
We are in the process of implementing a OLAP universe [SAP BOE 3.1 SP3] connecting to a MS cube [MS SSAS 2008 R2] and we need to apply data restrictions on the query based on the session user.
In a relational universe we would do this by using @VARIABLE('BOUSER') in the SQL query (via filters, joins or derived tables)
According to online guides, we can't use @VARIABLE('BOUSER') in MDX.
Is there an alternative way to identify and use the session user in a OLAP Universe?
Any help or pointers will be greatly appreciated

Hi Carlos:
Did you find a solution to this issue? I have the same requirement. I'm using BO 4.1
Thanks,
Alasdair
