authenticating in a bsp application with links to BW (BEx) Queries

Hello,

I'm developing a simple standalone bsp application with links to BW queries (Business Explorer - BEx) in the BW WAS (6.20). This application is NOT to be integrated with EP, so I have to create a system logon that works with links to BEx.

Then, what could be the best way?

Actually, the browser pops up the basic authentication. If I use the user anonymous in SICF, when click to BEx links the pop up appears again.

Do I use SSO? BEx will detect the SSO cookie?

    We have SSO between Web AS and BW and that works very fine. You might also have a look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/62/831640b7b6dd5fe10000000a155106/frameset.htm
