SNP Heuristics

Hello all,

I am running Heuristics against custom Planning Book. When I run SNP Heuristics ( interactive or batch ) it is only calculating receipt for one time bucket that happens to be the first time bucket in time horizon.

I ran SNP Heuristics with following data and SNP produced one receipt.

Period M1 M2 M3 M4 M5

Forecast 1 2 3 4 5

Receipt 1

So I thought that may be SNP Heuristics is not recognizing the time bucket profile or something so I deleted, the forecast from first few time buckets and still the answer is same that SNP Heuristics calculates for one time bucket in immediate future.

Period M1 M2 M3 M4 M5

Forecast 0 0 0 4 5

Receipt 4

Has anyone come across this situation. Thank you.

Hello,

This should be relevant to your macros that calculate the total receipts and demands.

Heuristic runs on the basis of the above macros.

Please check whether you have correctly copied the sample macro from standard planning book.

In standard planning book, there're two steps in macro 'Stock Balance', one is for initial column, and the other for other columns.

You must have these two steps, and calculation for initial column must go first.
