New SAP 8.81 Install, B1SiteUser password

Friday I started installing SAP 8.81 to a new server. I entered the B1SiteUser password.

On Monday when I tried to restart the Service Manager, the computer told me it could not be found. I logged on with the same credentials, etc. Nothing worked so I repaired Service Manager. I know I recorded the correct password but after the repair it wouldn't work.

I hadn't got too far with the install so I uninstalled everything, including Server Tools. I have tried a couple times now to reinstall the Server Tools but I cannot reset the site password.

I have stopped all SAP Services, uninstalled everything with SAP in the title from Uninstall Programs and still no luck.

I am using the package from the SDC labelled SAP Business One 8.81 PL04.

What do I have to do to get a clean install and a new B1SiteUser password?

    HI

You do a clean uninstall by cleaning registries and existing directories too....

Its good to do this and also check your computer for any virus infection....

    Hi Cindy.......

    Has your Installation done proper?

Is your License Manager Working Proper in Server Tool?

If yes then No need to have install and uninstallation. Yo can change the B1iSiteUser Password.

Simply go to License manager and click on Setting and then Configure Security at the bottom of window.

Now this will ask you to put B1iSiteUser and its pwd simply click on Change Password and it will bring you to the new window where you only put the new site pwd at the very bottom and dont put the current password.

This will reset your password and you can now work....

    Regards,

    Rahul
