Exporting Crystal Report to pdf

Hi,

We have a crystal report that is stored in Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1. The requirement is to connect to the Enterprise and export the report as pdf in .NET web page. I see a lot of RAS samples. But we are required to use the Business Objects Enterprise sdk dlls for this purpose.

Can somebody provide me a sample for this.

Thanks

Irene

    Hi,

    I am using the Page Server to open the report.

    CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.EnterpriseService boEnterpriseService = boEnterpriseSession.GetService("PSReportFactory");

    CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Viewing.PSReportFactory boReportAppFactory = (PSReportFactory)boEnterpriseService.Interface;

    CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.Controllers.ReportSource boReportClientDocument = boReportAppFactory.OpenReportSource(boInfoObject.ID);

    I have accessed report object through query

    boQuery = "Select SI_ID,SI_PROCESSINFO.SI_PROMPTS From CI_INFOOBJECTS Where SI_INSTANCE='0' AND SI_KIND='CrystalReport' AND SI_NAME='" + boReportName + "'";

    And set parameters. When I export the report to pdf using the page server as:

    boReportClientDocument.Export(exportOptions,objReq);

    The parameters that have been set do not get reflected.

    Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks

    Irene

    RAS is part of Enterprise...An option is to schedule the report to PDF and then stream the PDF from Enterprise to the browser.
