Assigning a custom event in CRM upon status change

Hi guys,

We have a requirmenet.When ever a status(header status) is changed in CRM Ui for quatation then my workflow needs to be triggered.Lets not concentrate about CRM.I have just googled and came to know that the config needs to be done in tcode CRMBS02.I know my status profile.once i double click the status profile we have a column STATUS NUM/STATUS...etc.So once i create my status with status number.What should be my next step.Please guide me.

After your status profile is configured in CRMBS02 transaction, go to the Transaction: BSVW (Status Management) to trigger an event when ever there is a change in the status.

you can find good amount of information on BSVW transaction...
