Newbie to BO WebI question

Hi to all,

I am Crystal Reports Developer / Oracle Developer for for 10 years.

Working on short terms projects lately.

Being aware of BO WebI is hot on Market.

Watched a couple SAP Demos.

Feels like it is the same idea, just a little bit different syntax and layout of the software.

Did any one of you learn BO WebI on it own.

By downloading the free trials software and play around?

Did anyone take those courses?

BOW310 - SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence XI 3.0/3.1: Report Design

BOU310 - SAP BusinessObjects Universe Designer XI 3.0/3.1: Universe Design

What was your expertise level at this point?

Cannot decide do I have to go through the courses or be on my own.

Id Instructor Course is better then On-Line course?

Any one wants to share?

Appreciate your input,

Oksana

    Hi,

Learning WebI shouldn't be too hard, you can do self reading to skill up on this one. Of cause you will need to have a trial software to do more hands on.

The hard part is learning the whole concept of Universe, that itself I would strongly recommend you to take the course mentioned.

If you can understand how Universe works, then you should be fine using WebI.

For all SAP related courses including WebI, you can find more via
