Hi Experts,
I have one of those bizarre situations I just cannot figure out. Running BW 7.0. I have a query based on an InfoSet. If I run the query directly from Query Designer, it works fine. If I run it via Web App Designer it works fine. But if I run it from BEx, I always get "No applicable data found". Doesn't matter who the user is or what selection criteria I enter. Additionally, this issue only occurs in our Production and Test environments. The BEx query works fine in our Sandbox, which is the same version level as Test and Production. The InfoSet does include an authorization relevant variable, but the same variable is used on a dozen other InfoSets with no problems.
I have tried re-activating all of the components and re-transporting the query, but that does not help.
Any ideas what the problem might be or what I could look at?
Thanks in advance.
Turns out that I had to add a key figure to the report to get it to work in BEx. I didn't like this resolution because it is just a list report, but that made it work and I don't have time to mess with it further.

Hi,
The issue is bit surprising!!!
But is it happening for all the queries in Analyzer or only for this query? Because other query related parameters remains same for all the tools, I just want to check if it might be a connectivity issue?
