Delete entries from PPFTTRIGG

Hello All,

We have a huge number of entries in table 'PPFTTRIGG' for certain opportunities.

What are the effects of deleting the entries for these particular Opportunities..apart from the fact that these opportunities will not have email alerts sent ( in our case we use smartform to send emails) ..These entries are causing the opportunity save to time out as each time the opportunity is saved, it scans the PPFTTRIGG for any actions that should be triggered.

Hi Monica,

Ideally you should not delete any entry manually in any crm tables.

If you find obsolete data, better to archive it using sap basis archiving transactions.

This note 653159 might help in improving the performance of actions.

We are on CRM 7.0 and this note is not appliable for this version.

Basically interested in getting those records from PPFTTRIGG processed ( most of them are in status '2' - incorrectly processed ' )

Hi,

so please check the configuration of Actions for these documents (crmc_action_conf, crmc_action_def). This status means that actions which are triggered for these documents were not properly processed (check, maybe they are not needed at all? then config could be changed to not start them - then you will have less entries in this table).
