ESS Leave request approver blank

Hi all,

I am experiencing a problem with a blank approver box in ess for leave requests. The reason for the blank approver is because the org structure contains unoccupied chief positions (which is correct).

I have set the processing to Line manager but I am unable to make the request skip the blank chief postions till it finds an occupied one? Any ideas?

Thanks for this but there is no entry in T77S0 for WFLOW, VAPOS??

I know, it's often like that. You need to add the entry yourself (I know it's not "common".

I think you need to maintain table T77S0:

Group = WFLOW

Semid= VAPOS

Value = X

Than the vacant positions are skipped
