Once u transopted to Quality we are getting "Invalid Response content type. Server returned code (500) with message <Internal Server Error> and content type <text/html; charset=utf-8>. Http proxy info: none"

We checked the patch level in DEV and Quality system.

    Hello Sumana,

There might be some type mismatch in the input data you provide to the web service.

First you confirm whether the data types of your data and data types of receiver end are same.

Try to convert the data if it is the case.

I am working on similar task.

Here, I have converted the data to string format and sent it, as the receiver data type is in 'string'.

However, this is for outbound process.(i.e., consuming web services)

Have you been to tx SOAMANAGER in the quality system to set up the correct binding, and to generate the fresh WSDL? That has to be done after each transport.

      Matt,

      Thank you for your reply.

We were able to close this issue. The syntax error the service was not allowing the service to execute. Still wondering how it worked in Dev.

However, we had recreated the service definition and transported the same to Quality and now its working.
