Adding custom attribute in EP user engine

Hi all,

Apart from standard EP user Attributes like FirstName,LastName etc ,i want to add one more attribute in EP user screen. How to implement this?.

Hello Vasu,

you can add them in UME Configuration attribute is ume.admin.addattrs. As a semicolon seperated List.

If you have EP 6.0 Stack 5 or more you can add UME custom attributes from the portal section System Administration -> System Config -> UM Configuration -> Dyrect Editing

here just find the attribute

ume.admin.addattrs=<mycustom1>;<mycustom2>

Restart the servlet engine and when you create a new user or edit/display an old one you will find the new properties.

Hi Vasu,

I have opened an OSS note and SAP told me that is not possible to display UME custom properties in the User details iView because that iview is differently coded than the others km iView.

Anyway I have discovered that you can display new custom properties in the details user iview that you can launch from the CLP on the Tool bar.

If you launch the user details iview from the collaboration room [eg from the room member list iview] you cannot display ume custom properties.

I hope to solve that problem
