BEx 7.0 – limit attributes displayed for hierarchy variable selection?

Within BEx Query Designer BI Add On 7.X Support Package 1, Patch 1, when executing a query where a hierarchy variable is being used, in the input selection screen, if an user attempted to drill into the hierarchy in order to navigate to a specific node of the hierarchy, they see the Hierarchy Key, Hierarchy Text followed by a list of all attributes related to node. If multiple node values are allowed within the variable, In order to select the node(s) for input into the variable, the end user must navigate to the end of the list (if choose to navigate by page by the scroll bar on the bottom and this can be three to four extra clicks), in order to be able to transfer the selected node(s) to the Selections.

Example Hierarchy u2013 Org Unit

When displaying the org unit hierarchy in the variable input select screen, and end user will see:

1000000045, Executive Corp Mgmt, Co Area of Master Cost Center: 0001 Cake Company, Sales Org indicator #, Master Cost Center Not assigned, Plant Not assigned, Purchasing Org Not Assigned, Sales Office: # Not Assigned, Sales Group # #, Organizational unit is a Company: Not Assigned, <more.....attributes not listing in this forum post....more> Source System: SC9, SC9 Client 400

Is there a way to limit this so the end user only sees:

1000000045, Executive Corp Mgmt

We have investigated changing options within RSA1, but have ruled any info object config out as this doesnu2019t occur when running the query via Query Analyzer 70, nor is it an issue when executing queries that are created on the 3.5 toolset.

Does anyone know how to limit what attributes are displayed for hierarchy variable selection as described above?

Thanks,
