Upgrading from Business One 2004 issues.

Hi,

I am having problems upgrading from Business One 2004.

I am trying to connect to the database on the same machine whose version is 6.7...185

The current server is able to connect to all the databases with version 6.7...184

During the upgrade process it asks for the database sever details and then for the license server information.It gives an error when i enter the license server name.

"License server service not started or does not exists"

Although the license server service is started and i am able to connect to the server from the client on entering the same license server name.

I have a Business One 2004 server, client and database on the same machine.

How do i connect to this new database with version 6.7...185?Am I missing something?

    Are you sure you are entering the machine name of the license (and not the machine name of the database)?

    You can see the license machine name you use, in SAP Business One --> Administration --> License Administration window.

    Hi,

    I have experienced the same problem before.

    But, I solved the problem after reading upgrade guide document.

    "SAP_Business_One_Upgrade_Guide_2004_B_EN.pdf"

    Read the step1 part with careful.

    The important thing is that you should have a temporary license key.
