Dear Experts!

Is there a way to exclude a value in multiple selection of characteristic values of a Block Basis Definition?

Here is where I need this:

You define Block Basis Definitions in t-code /SAPAPO/MC01_BBD:

1. You specify the class and click on button "Change" or press F6

2. You create a new line or select an existing one to modify

3. You click on button "Detail"

4. You click on button "Multiple selection" of the characteristic values field

5. You enter the value of the characteristic

At this point I am only able to enter values to be selected - I cannot - or don't see an option to use an operator "not equal" like for example in /SAPAPO/RES01 when selecting resources.

Hello Igor,

We have already talked by incident, but I will answer by here to let it saved in case some other person has the same question:

Unfortunately it is not possible to add this kind of options (not equal to, greater than, less than...).

These settings (select options) need to be stored on the data base and need to be used during data processing in the applications, and also all these logic parts did expect a simple list of values with an option EQ (equal).

So, it cannot be done by standard and it is neither recommended to implement a modification or other enhancement strategy to change this behavior, due the fact that it will lead to errors in the further data processing.

Best Regards,

Yasmin Alayyan.
