Cant Pull the Text in the Drilldown Webitem

Hi all,

I have a BW report on the portal, which comprises of two web items, drilldown and table webitems. The Drilldown is supposed to have the material char and the table all the customers details for a given period of time. the user should be able to select a material .. so that he can see all the customer details related to the the material.

Now the problem is ... in the drilldown i'm able to get the material No: not the material name .. but the user wants to see the material name... I tried to display the name in the properties of the material charin the query designer, but still they arent being reflected. Just to try if this working, when i put the material in the rows, there i can see the material text in the table.. but not in the drilldown...I'm not sure if I'm clear enough in describing the issue.Pls lemme know if u need some more clarification on the problem.

Did anybody came across such situation? And how to overcome it?

Thanks in Advance.

Mav.

      Hi Anil,

Thanks for the reply. I know the problem looks kinda weird. Thats what bothers me. Anyway, the values are picked up from the "Posted Values". As u said, it shouldnt make any difference. Any other ideas!!

      Thanks,

      Mav
