Notifications - Urgent

Hi

Could anybody tell me what are the steps necessary to define a subscriver service?

I followed the help.sap but I still can´t get any e-mail notifications. Is the anything else that I must change.

After configuring the channels, I set up the channel originators. In the notificator service configuration, Channels and Originators. In the subscription service configuration, channel originator in Originators.

Anybody?

    Hi Lai,

    After creating channels, did u create all channel

    originators like notificator.EMAIL, subscription.EMAIL,

    subscription.collaboration.EMAIL. After creating did u

    Restart the SAP J2EE engine. After the restart follow

    the steps given below

    To call up the configuration for the <b>scheduler service,</b> 
choose Content Management--> Global Services --
>Scheduler Service. Activate the Checkbox

<b>Crawler Service</b> , choose Content Management --> 
Global Services  -->Crawler Service --> Edit

Active  - True
Expiration Statistics - 1800 
Default Crawler - Standard

Configuration of the <b>notificator service</b> choose 
Content Management--> Global Services 
--> Notificator Service --> Edit

Template Directory - /etc/notifications
Active             - true
Channel            -EMAIL
Orginators         -Notificator.EMAIL
Inbox Channel      -INBOX

Click OK.

<b>Before Activating the Subscription service, you need 
to activate Scheduler Service, Notificator Service, 
Crawler Service</b>
choose Content Management --> Repository Services --> 
Subscription Service. Edit Subscription

allowed administration  - create,updatereceipient
service user            - subscription_service
subscription service ID in database - 
send adminnotifications to action inbox -true
send notifications to action inbox      - true
originators  - subscription.EMAIL
connection pool - dbcon_rep
crawler - standard

Edit subscription_collaboration

allowed administration  - create,updatereceipient
service user - subscription_service
subscription service ID in database - collaboration
send adminnotifications to action inbox = true
send notifications to action inbox = true
originators - subscription_collaboration.EMAIL
connection pool - dbcon_rep
crawler - standard

Clik ok

    After this restart the SAP J2EE Engine.
