Hi Experts,
we have built a cash flow query based on 0FIGL_V10. The performance is quite miserable as it is a virtual infoprovider. Are there any suggestions to tweak the performance ? Does an aggregate on 0FIGL_C10 (the basis of of V10) help at all ?
Thanks for you inputs !
Regards,
Max
The other alternative in the long-run would be to use the standard InfoCubes 0FIGL_C10, and enhance that to load more frequently, e.g., once every 2 hours.
That way, you still have up-to-date information, without the performance bottlenecks of using a VirtualProvider.
This alternative however, will incur some resources to develop and deploy.

We use the virtual infoprovider in order to have accurate balance sheet. Some positions in balance sheet may be debit or credit, depending on the balance of the corresponding accounts ("contra items", Saldowechselposition in German) in the hierarchy. This is the reason why we use 0FIGL_V10 (see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_dimp50/helpdata/EN/f2/e16840b151181ce10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm)
The V10 is not a Remote cube !

Hi, I have the same question.
Anyone know if virtual Providers like 0FIGL_V10
Based on Function Modules
will use aggregates in 0FIGL_C10 ?
Best Regards
Ingrid

Hello Max,
Please have a look at this SAP Note which has helped customers with similar issues:
1173380 - Changes to service function modules of FI-GL virtual cubes
Another customer who faced similar performance issues with virtualproviders solved
the problem by setting parameter STAR_TRANSFORMATION_ENABLED to TRUE.
Please check if this is set to FALSE and if so, change it to TRUE as per SAP Note 830576.
