create incident with reference to sales order in sap CRM

We are creating sales order in ECC and replicating it to CRM .

we need to create incident/problem ticket with reference sales order in CRM .

I have configured incident and problem document types (YTIN/YTPR)

In the next step I am going to link YTIN and YTPR to my sales document type ZTOR through copy control . But I don't know yet whether copy control is right thing here.

Do you think I need to do any other settings to refer sales order to incident ? like any standard BADI or function module ?.

End of the day we need to create incident as as subsequent document for sales order in CRM ? any idea how to achieve that .

Hello Rusheek,

As you know the copy control for both header and item level is mandatory customizing. You may use the Create Follow-up functionality to establish the reference.

Incident is the concept and scenario in CRM Service and Sales belongs to CRM Sales. To use both scenario in CRM WebUI you also need to configure some work centers so that users can access both Sales and Service transactions in the same client.
