Warning Message While Putting Sales Price if it is less that Cost Price.

Dear All,

My Client requirement is we are entreing the Sales Price Manually in Sales Order for all Line Items. If the User enters the Sales Price Less than Cost Price in the Sales Order. Is there any User Exit for this I can put a Validation only for a particular Sales Organisation.

Pleaseh help me out with the Solution.

    This can be controlled through pricing procedure where you maintain routine 5 under the tab AltCTy. By doing so, system will give an alert message that the price is below cost and you cannot save.

    Hi

    There is no need of any Exit, you can do this with standard Configuration.

    Use the concept of Condition Exclusion (IMG> Sales & Distribution> Basic Functions --> Pricing > Condition Exclusion> Condition Exclusion For Groups Of Conditions).

    Here while maintaining the Condition Exclusion for Pricing Procedure use "L"

    Also maintain your Net Value (NETWR) in Incompletion log.

    Now when the user will maintain a Price lower than the Cost (VPRS), system will disable your Price Condition, and so the Net Value in Sales Order becomes ZERO, and then while saving the order system will give mesage to maintain the net value as per the setting in Incompletion log.
