Reverse of return delivery

Dear all,

This is regarding QM issue.

Need to reverse a return delivery, in UD user has rejected the lot instead of accepting it now the stock is in scheduled for delivery status but no delivery number created.

Need to post 123 movement type.

please guide me in this regard.

as the issue is critical.

Try using T-Code MB31 and movement type 123. Give the same production order reference there.

Yes Santosh. It's correct. You can go for it. Rather you must implement this note if you want document specific reversal. MB01 or MB31 are the alternatives for this.

Contact to your basis consultant for this note implementation. After implementing this note you have give inspection lot number as input. This reverses the movements that you carried out with respect to this lot. You can also assign Z tcode to this program.

Dear anand,

one more thing the lot no which iam facing the problem is not available in quality,it is only there in the production client.

so to test in the quality which lot no i have to give.

currently i have one lot no for which ud is rejected can i take that lot no?

afterwards how to check the correctness of this report.

Hello Santosh,

I try to explain this.

1. Whenever you apply any SAP note in system it is advisable and standard practice to implement it in development server first.

2. This generates one request in development server

3. Transport this request (after assigning Z transaction code to it by ABAPer) to quality server thereafter.

4. It is obvious that you can not find the same inspection lot in Quality server which is created in production server, as these 2 are separate servers.

5. Hence you need to create the duplicate scenario like this in your quality system.

6. Give this lot number in the program which note has created

7. Just execute this.

8. After executing this you will notice the grey fields in QA32 stock posting tab have turned in to while fields.

9. This is the indication of stock reversal. Also you can check the effect in MMBE. Stock should come to quality inspection again.

10. If you are through with this testing then transport the same request to production server.

Dear Anand,

i tried to apply this note but it is not working,showing as stock cannot be posted something like that.

i think the problem may be iam not getting replica of production in quality.

because in production the quantity is sitting in return delivery,but in quality it is not happening.

now i asked to do client copy of production in quality so that i can replicate the issue.

is there any other options are available to solve this issue.

pls guide me in this regard.

Dear Santosh,

In my opinion client copy for this issue is not the solution. Why canu2019t you create a test case in quality server? Simply create a production order, do goods receipt against this. Inspection lot o4 will be generated. Post the stock to return delivery. Your scenario is created!

Now why you are not able to carry out reversal by this note, is really very difficult to predict unless you provide the exact error text. I request to read the prerequisites of this note carefully which are mentioned in the note itself.

Few point that I remember are,

1. You need to check whether reversal movement of 122 is defined as 123 or not.

2. In OMJJ in allowable transaction codes whether you have included QA11, QA12 or not for movement 123.

3. You have defined appropriate GLs in FI module for nullifying this effect.

If you have time constraint and if the requirement is so urgent you can proceed with the alternative solution as MB31 123 movement. Verify its effects in the both the cases with your FI consultants, as in both the cases system will generate financial accounting documents.

i have created production order,but in mb31 iam unable to post the quantity with122 movement type.

it is showing me error as document does not contain any selectable item.

please guide me in this regard.

Dear Santosh,

I guess you are trying to create a test scenario in yout susyem. Kindly note you have do goods receipt first then return delivery. As per my understanding following should be the sequence.

1. Creation ot Production Order - CO01

2. Order Confirmation through CO11N

3. Goods receipt against this order - MB31-101movement

4. By this movement stock will come to quality inspection'

5. Now against this lot post the stock to Return delivery through QA32.

6. Hence return delivery (122 movement) to be posted through QA32 and not through MB31.

first of all thanks for your guidence.

iam able to create the test case exactly what required.

now the stock is in the return delivery.

when i applied the note (Z programme ZRQEVAC50),after putting the lot no when i execute this,the system is giving me informational message as GOODS MOVEMENT IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH MOVEMENT TYPE 123.

Further when try to use MB31 with movement type 123 iam able to post the material,but after that it is not coming in quality.

further when i check in qa32 the stock remains in the return delivery field only.

as my client dont want to post (using mb31) for entire order,he wants only for particular material document.

please guide me how to proceed further.

Dear Santosh,

Seems that you have NOT added QA11 and QA12 transaction codes in allowed transactions in OMJJ for 123 movement. Add it and then again try to execute the program with same lot.

Either you use MB31, 123 movement or use note program. Both cannot work together. You must have noticed that MB31 effect is not with respect to inspection lot, the how come return delivery field will be editable after MB31? It never be. MB31 reconciles the effect while note program reverses the movement with respect to original lot.

If you have carried out MB31, create new case for testing after adding QA12 in allowed transaction in OMJJ
