Local WAS 6.40 installation

Hello,

We are preparing a proof of concept for the WAS 6.40 and the scenario we would like to set up includes a local installation on the developers PC besides the central server.

Are the installation requirements for a local installation on a developer's PC the same as for a central server?. Is there a kind of 'light' and 'easy' installation for a developers PC?
