I've discovered that some material documents are not getting populated in the setup tables when I run the setup for inventory management(T.C. OLI1BW) extractor 2LIS_03_BF.
Comparing the PSA to the MSEG table, specifically it looks like it is only transactions for movement types 941 and 943 that are not getting extracted.
Does anyone have any idea why this would be the case? Are certain records excluded from the extraction?
I've read through the inventory management white papers and many OSS notes but can't seem to find a reason why it would not be selecting these records.
Thank you,
Chris
Yes we've already performed the steps in this note as part of our initial config/setup of the extractor.
The funny thing is most of the material movements are extracted correctly and post to the 0IC_C03 InfoCube just fine. It's just these two movement types (941, 943) that the extractor is not sending to BW.
I've identified some of the specific documents I'm missing on MSEG - so what I did is re-ran OLI1BW, entering a specific document number I am missing for the setup. The LIS setup log (t.c. NPRT) said "No of documents" was 2, which looks good since the document has two line items. But then when I go to test the 2LIS_03_BF extractor in RSA3, it returns 0 records. And of course if I try executing the extractor in BW at that point it also gets zero records.
So it seems like the initial setup program picks up the material documents, but the actual extractor is not picking up these movements...?
Thanks,
Chris
Hello Chris,
as I understand you have no data in the Delta Queue for the movements of the type 941, 943.
The SAP standard is extracting 1:1 the movments MSEG -> MCMSEG. The filter should be somewhere else.
I believe the best way to solve this problem is to create an OSS message.
Sorry...
Michael
