Configuratble Material Standard price

Can any one tell me how the Standard price in Configuratble material will get updated.

Dear Sudha,

Normally we will not use standard cost estimates for the config materials as it varies from variant to variant.

However, the prices are managed with the specific sales order item cost estimate.

Can you please tell me how the Production GR is valuated (with which price) in this scenario.

Dear Sudha,

Normally the GR is posted with the target price i.e. the sales order cost estimate price per unit multiplied by the quantity received from the Production order.

Hi Umapathi,

But the Target Price will update based only GR right, before GR the target price was ZERO.

Dear Sudha,

You are right, when we do the first GR, system updates the Target values and this is what is the price passed down from Sales order cost estimate per unit of GR received.
