Auto Replenishment TO not working

Hi,

I have configured Replenishment technique '1' for my fixed bin storage type - this means that when a TO is confirmed that takes the stock qty below the min stock level in the bin, a replenishment TO is automatically created.

In this process there is no need for any transfer requirements.

Unfortunately, despite DAYS of testing, scouring forums, SAP help, Google etc I still can't get this to work. I have tried everything - so many combinations, yet the replen TO NEVER creates.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced similar and could offer any suggestions as to what I might be missing.

It feels like it will be something simple...but not obvious.

Best regards

Guy

Hi Guy,

We have implemented this a number of time for our customers , the seach sequence for the movement type is the most likley casue of failure here. If you are still struggling to resolve the problem would like to contact me via my profile (as we are both in the UK) and I will talk you through the configuration.

If there is anything significant we can update the group with the solution.

schedule the program RLAUTA10 with corect variant for the auto Transfer order creation.

in case the TR is still not considered in the above program run check 2 things

1 you have assigned correct indicator to the movement type . and same was used in the RLAUTA10

2. you need to make use of user exit so that the TR for replenishment is considered in RLAUTA10 since it is desgined for material document TR

Hi Guy,

My understanding on the customizing of Replenishment technique '1' is that, the replenishment TO will be created immediately as soon as the stock falls below the minimum bin quantity upon the confirmation of a picking TO.

For example, current stock in the bin is 100 PC and minimum bin quantity is 50 PC, a picking TO is created to pick 51 PC, as soon as the picking TO is confirmed which reduced the stock in the bin to 49 PC (below minimum 50 PC), a TO will be created immediately to replenish the bin.

You may refer to help.sap.com for more information on this.

Hope it helps.

SAP help says that "If you set the indicator in the field Automatic TO in the definition of the movement type, the system creates transfer orders automatically based on the transfer requirements".

Have you checked this for your replinishment movement type?

hi,

a) Create a movement type buy copying an existing one and in that mention the creation of TO for stock removal.

b) Mention the reference indicator 2 in movement type

c) Now mention this indicator in storage type search table in the sequence like removal indicator if any in material master then this indicator and the picking storage type

d) You also need to assign this movement type to the destination storage type

e) Now go to mm01 and extend the WM2 view for a specific storage type from where you always issue the goods.

f) In WM2 mention minimum stock, replenishment stock, max stock. This data will be used for calculation of how much stock needs to be picked from the reserved storage type.

g) Use the tcode LP21 to fill the Fixed bin

Click on button staging and Save the data to create a TR

Step : display the TR LB11

as per my undestanding initially TR will be created in background on execution of tcode LP21 and then you need to convert this TR into TO.
