Is there a template for Crystal Reports Design Docoument which can be referred to?

Not clear what you are asking for?

For Crystal Reports Designer help simply hit the F1 key.

For Template Report create a new Report using the Design Wizard and select Template. Help for the Template Wizard is also in the CR help file.

Well, what i needed is some kind of functional design dcoument template for crystal reports if any.. .to get an idea of what all details can be added

What version of CR are you using?

You can download or sample reports which are based on the Xtreme.MDB Access Table from this link:

https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100005852352008E/cr_xi_xtreme_rep_smpl_en.zip

Create a System DSN to the MDB file and call it "Xtreme Sample Database 11.5" and then the reports should be able to be refreshed.
