    Hi,

You will get the reported invalid error message for the variable if the value is not available which you are

    selecting in variable screen.

You get this error message because the variable is checked for a valid entry before proceeding.

If you use Mandatory variable then you will get this error if you enter incorrect variable value.

But in case of Optional variable , if you don't select any variable value than only you will get whatever result data

is available, even No Applicable data if no data available.

For optional variables also if you select incorrect value , you will get error message invalid value , and you can

only supass it if you don't enter any value or enter a correct value.

There is no standard way to avoid this message and you will get it for incorrect value entered.

    Regards,

    Amit

    Hi,

There is nothing wrong in this. This is system message and also one kind of testing which validates if you are entering any value which is not available in master data table system throws prompt as you mentioned in the thread.

    Thanks and regards
