FTP Receiver CC with dynamic host name

Hi All,

I have File To FTP simple scenario without repository objects and with multiple FTP receivers that determinated by source directory.

How can I change my scenario in order to create just one FTP receiver communication channel and it's host name will be like the source directory name?

Thanks ,

Ola

it's host name will be like the source directory name?

you mean to say you want to decide the target directory (folder)? In case of different FTP servers you will have to configure those many Business Components/ Channels.....each pointing to a particular FTP server

No..

File Sender Communication Channel take files from multiple directories: DIRA, DIRY, DIRZ.

I want to build one FTP Receiver channel and set host name appropriate to the source directory. For example

file from DIRA should go to FTP server with host FTPA. All other FTP properties like user, passwor, directory are the same for all FTP servers.

Any idea?

If you want to only set the target directory then you can do that....however then your scenario wont be a non-Repository scenario....

Instead of FileName you will have Directory.

Hi,

The hostname is a mandatory field in the receiver file comm. channel and its value can not be made dynamic.

So you would need to create seperate file receiver channels for each receiver system in your scenario.

Yes, you need to create diff communication channel to handle host names. So use dummy structure in ESR and try enhanced interface determination. That is using mapping (through UDF do dynamic configuration) you can achieve this.

You can follow Abhishek's blog multiple operations in the same inbound interface of this link
