Prospect is not transfered when creating a new lead out of assigment block

Hello,

in SAP CRM 2007 I try to create a new lead out of the assignment block u201CLeadsu201D in the account overview. After choosing u201CNewu201D the input form for a new lead is opened, but the account information is not transferred into field u201CProspectu201D, so that I have to fill the prospect manually.

In contrast when creating a new opportunity out of the assignment block u201COpportunitiesu201D the account information is transferred into field u201CProspectu201D of the new opportunity.

Has anyone an idea, how to transfer the account information into a new lead?

Hi Jan,

This requires a Partner determination procedure(PDP) to be setup for the lead transaction.

Please maintain this as a customization by comparing with oppurtunity.

SPRO > CRM > Transaction > Basic Settings > Define Transaction Types (here check if correct PDP is assigned to the type)

SPRO > CRM > Basic Functions > Partner Processing > Define Partner Determination Procedure

thanks for your reply. I checked this and it seems to be ok. In addition I used the PDP, which is used by opportunities, for leads. However the account information is still missing in new leads.

HI Jan,

Please check the Access sequence that has been assigned to the partner function 'Sales Prospect' in the PDP that you have used.

It should be:

"Preceding Document: Activity Partner -> Preceding Document: Sold- To Party"
