ERROR Cost element 22025 does not exists

while doing the bill correction I am getting an error that Cost Element *** does not exists message no. KS211

Cost element does not exists in coontrolling area *** from 00/00/0000 to 12/30/9999

so why I am getting this error we have GL account same as above cost element which is for taxation and its balance sheet account for out put tax

The error for cost element arises when the GL account that is getting triggered is a P&L type account and there is no cost element created for the same .

For creation of cost element you may use FS00 - Edit cost element button or you can directly use the t code KA01 to create the same .

Revert if still stuck up.
